If there's one scent that belongs in a wellness candle, it's lavender. Not because it's expected; because it works. Centuries of use and decades of research point to the same conclusion: lavender is genuinely calming. We didn't need to dress it up. We just needed to do it right.
Our Lavender candle is crafted from 100% organic filtered beeswax and scented exclusively with pure lavender essential oil, steam distilled from the flowering tops of Lavandula angustifolia: the true lavender species known for its clean, balanced aromatic profile. No fragrance oils, no synthetic blends, no lavandin substitutes. Just the real thing.
The scent is classic lavender — floral and herbaceous, with a soft, slightly earthy finish that grounds rather than sweetens. Beeswax carries it beautifully, releasing the essential oil slowly and evenly throughout the burn without the chemical sharpness that synthetic lavender is notorious for.

First Burn
Burn until wax melts to the edge of the jar (2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling
Wick Care
Trim to 1/4 inch before every burn for a clean, even flame
Care Instructions
Trim wick to 1/4" before each use
Allow wax to reach a full melt pool on first burn (approximately 2 hours)
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
Discontinue use when 1/4" of wax remains
Beeswax may develop a natural white haze called bloom over time - this is a sign of pure, unprocessed wax and does not affect performance. It can be gently buffed away with a soft cloth if desired.
The Vesper Difference
Most "clean" candles swap paraffin for soy or coconut wax and call it done. We don't think that goes far enough. Beeswax is the original clean-burning wax; naturally harder, naturally longer-burning, and naturally free from the processing aids and additives found in most alternative waxes. It's not a trend. It's just the best material for the job.
